Anthony is a very experienced live performer and has previously appeared at the World of Beer Festival in Florida, the Elastic FM Festival in Derbyshire and the Winding Wheel Theatre in Chesterfield.
His standard live performances are either 3 x 30 minute sets or 2 x 45 minute sets. However, Anthony is flexible and can adapt his set times as required.
Anthony Parsons is a singer/songwriter from Bolsover, Derbyshire.
He started to sing at a young age and also plays keyboard and guitar but he never really took it all seriously until the age of 18.
It wasn't until 2010 that Anthony began his career by filming his cover versions of popular songs and posting them on Youtube.
He was spotted by US talent scouts who asked Anthony to fly to the States to meet them. Whilst there he performed with the band Torque across various venues, including a gig with AC/DC in the audience.
Upon his return home, Anthony’s live shows have gone from strength-to-strength as he performs to thousands of people every year across the UK. He performs over 200 gigs a year.
He has, however, now entered a new phase in his career; on 18th December 2018, Anthony released his debut single, “I'll Be”, with his follow-up single, “Fall For You”, released on 12th February 2019.
'Never Enough' and 'Gone, Gone, Gone' followed but it was 'Summer Rain' that has so far proven to be his most successful release. It featured on BBC Introducing East Midlands and has been played on radio stations world wide.
On 1st May 2020, Anthony released a charity single called 'Rise Above It All'. The song is raising funds for NHS Charities Together and the Care Worker's Charity.
'Rise Above It All' was named as BBC Radio Derby's Track of The Week and has received excellent reviews.
